Anheihe, China, a small but very significant area, is noteworthy for the charming set-up of being surrounded by mountains and rivers in the background. This place is, notwithstanding it is very interesting location and has not been found many, an important hub for exchanges of history and cultural elements.
According to tradition, the word “Anheihe” in the local dialect means something very precious and unusual. Anheihe is in the more remote part of China and it is in a quiet area. It has no big buildings and people are not all around. It is a pure nature reserve and has air from the countryside, which is nice and clean, and water from the river.
This area experiences different weather conditions during the year as in other similar regions I have visited. In the summer, it is hot but very green. In the winter, it is mostly cold and sometimes there is a little snow. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for vacation at that time of the year because they give different weather conditions.
The Geography
The land surrounding Anheihe is mostly hilly and mountainous. It is a place where the rivers make their beautiful way through. This lets plants and animals drink and eat.
The hills are full of trees and bushes. They not only make sure the air is clean but they also become homes to birds and other small animals.
The People of Anheim
The local residents are very warm and friendly to others and keep norms respected for many generations. This is the area where all the families tend to their plots at work. That means, the same area that their parents and grandparents also lived in.
Working with rural communities, I highly recognize that people from areas like Anheihe are very good friends. Children begin their lifelong friendships by playing together. Adults help each other with their work and other daily activities.
Daily Life
The people of Anheihe get up early in the morning. A lot of the villagers are farmers. They grow rice, vegetables, and fruits; the main economy is agriculture. Some people also raise animals such as chickens, pigs, and cows.
The day starts at sunrise, common to everyone. The whole family takes breakfast and goes to work on the farm in the morning. They take a rest when the sun is very hot at noon. In the evening, families gather to eat dinner and discuss their respective activities of the day.
Traditional Customs
The leaders of the communities of Anheihe observe many customs. They celebrate classic holidays during the course of the year. Wearing bright clothes and serving feasts are the captivating parts of these events.
Both performance and dance relate to their culture. The kids study their parent’s history through the means of songs. These songs contain mentions of their background through different stories and beliefs.

What People Do for Work
Most Anheihe workers are usually involved in agriculture. The fact that the soil is suitable for different grain planting is one of the reasons for this practice.

There are lots of birds inhabiting the trees all over Anheihe, and you can hear their pleasant songs during mornings and evenings. There are small animals such as rabbits and squirrels that run through the forest too.
The fish in the rivers are sometimes caught by people since they are edible. The frogs near the water usually make sounds at night. Butterflies are seen among the flowers by day.
Plants and Trees
The forests include many trees in various kinds. There are those that are very long-lived and high up in the sky. Also, there are some smaller trees that people can also eat the fruits of. The forest souses some plants that the people use to prepare medicine when they are sick.
Most people favor growing vegetables in their gardens. The vegetable garden supplies a variety of vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, and cabbage which are necessary for balancing the diet of the families.
Challenges and Changes
Like in most areas, Anheihe also encounters some problems. The young people from there sometimes leave to the cities where they find work. Hence, there are fewer people to do the work on the farms and to help the local community.
Even the weather changes. Sometimes, there is too much rain, and sometimes not enough. Farmers then find it more difficult to farm than it used to be.

The individuals in Anheihe are facing difficulties, but they are likewise implementing programs to make their community more equitable. Farming technocrats are dealing with the problem by developing new models of agriculture that are less harmful to the environment. Furthermore, they are contemplating ways to attract tourists who appreciate their beautiful area.
Based on my development projects, everyone can win if we all join our brains and work locally and at the same time change what is not good. Besides this integration, we should also approach problems in a more respectful way while at the same time keeping our customs intact.
